XD motion Unveils the Next Generation of Full Motion Control Robotic Arm at IBC Show

Coignieres, 11/09/2023 – XD motion, a global leader in broadcast robotics and automation, has announced the launch of its newest robotic camera model, the ARCAM 20, at IBC SHOW 2023, which is set to take place in Amsterdam from September 15-18, 2023. Building upon the success of their popular ARCAM 10 model, the ARCAM 20 offers an increased payload capacity of 20kg and expanded motion capabilities with a range of up to 3.5 meters.

New ARCAM 20 Robotic Arm: Faster Speeds, Heavy Payloads. Longest Reach

“We are thrilled to unveil the ARCAM 20 at this year’s IBC,” said Benoit Dentan, CEO of XD motion. “With its enhanced payload and motion capabilities, this new system provides broadcasters with even greater creative freedom and flexibility”

The six-axis robotic arm provides precise and fluid full pan, tilt, roll, focus, and zoom motion control, enabling the capture of complex camera moves. Designed with safety in mind, the ARCAM 20 can be floor-mounted, rigged upside down, or mounted on walls and ceilings. The system is Plug-and-Play and Augmented Reality compatible, supporting any 3D engine under the FreeD protocol.

The ARCAM seamlessly integrates with XD motion’s IO.BOT software, empowering a single operator to control all PTZs, robotic arms, and other remote head robotics. With this system, operators can define unlimited trajectories, benefiting from an ergonomic interface optimized for broadcast use. The software also seamlessly integrates with any 3D engine and automation system, ensuring a unified control experience.

XD motion invites attendees of the IBC Show to visit their booth (H12-B45) and witness firsthand the exceptional capabilities of the ARCAM 20, along with their other innovative broadcast robotics solutions.
